Dan Frost is one of the world's leading golf coaches, the founder of Sure-Golf, and the inventor of every training aid in the Sure-Golf product range. His coaching philosophy, built over a lifetime of researching elite-level performance, is the foundation on which every Sure-Golf product is designed.

 

 

Dan has coached golfers at the highest levels of the professional game, including PGA Tour players, European Tour (now DP World Tour) players, Korn Ferry Tour players, Walker Cup team members, British Amateur Champions, English Amateur Champions, and NCAA Division 1 Champions. His coaching extends across the full spectrum of the game, from elite professionals to aspiring juniors and adult amateur golfers of all skill levels.

 

 

Dan is recognised as an expert across multiple disciplines within golf performance, including kinematics, kinetics, ball flight data analysis, human behaviour, neuroscience, and motor learning science. This breadth of knowledge places him in a unique position to understand not just what elite players do, but why they do it and how that knowledge can be transferred to golfers of all abilities.

 

His expertise in motor learning science is the foundation of Sure-Golf's sensation-based training philosophy. Rather than overloading golfers with technical information, Dan's approach focuses on creating training aids that physically guide the golfer into the correct movement, allowing the body to learn through proprioceptive feedback.

 

 

Dan's coaching methodology is built around what he calls the four pillars of performance: how we think, feel, act, and move. This framework underpins every Sure-Golf product and every lesson within the Sure-Golf Knowledge Centre. The philosophy recognises that lasting improvement in golf requires more than mechanical instruction. Sure-Golf training aids are used by over 70 percent of DP World Tour professionals, based on caddie bag surveys conducted at DP World Tour events between 2023 and 2025.
